Repair warranty

Our standard 12-month repair warranty covers a fault in the replacement part we supplied or in our workmanship, starting on the repair completion date. If the covered part or our work develops a defect, we will inspect it and, where the claim is valid, repair or replace the affected part without a labour charge.

3-year phone warranty

Unless the individual listing says otherwise, phones supplied by Windsor Express include a 36-month warranty starting on the date of sale. It covers hardware faults that were present at sale or develop through normal use during the warranty period. If a claim is valid, the remedy may be repair, replacement with an equivalent device, or another remedy required by consumer law.

The warranty is provided by Windsor Express. It is separate from any remaining manufacturer warranty and does not promise that a manufacturer will provide software or security updates for the full 3 years. Software-support information shown on a listing is based on the manufacturer's published position and may change.

What is not covered

  • New accidental or impact damage, cracked glass, bending, crushing or misuse.
  • Liquid ingress, corrosion, heat damage or contamination occurring after service or sale.
  • Normal cosmetic wear, expected battery ageing or consumable accessories unless faulty at supply.
  • Software, account, network, SIM, third-party app or data problems unrelated to our work.
  • Damage caused by another repairer, unauthorised opening, modification or incompatible accessories.
  • A different fault or a pre-existing issue that was not part of the agreed repair.

Water resistance and data

Opening a device can affect factory seals. Unless expressly confirmed in writing, a repaired device is not guaranteed to retain its original water-resistance rating. Always keep important data backed up; a warranty covers the device or repair, not the value of stored data.

How to make a claim

Contact us with your name, proof of purchase and a clear description of the problem. We need a reasonable opportunity to inspect the device before another repairer works on it. Remove personal data where practical and back up the device before handing it over.

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace, your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
